Terms and Conditions
All orders are processed within 24 - 48 hours after receipt of order. Please Note* * you should determine when you need to receive the order, i.e. an order received on Monday will be shipped via ground, will be processed on Tuesday and shipped out on Wednesday. Please note ** these are perishable Gourmet products that are ground shipments. Local shipments - i.e. Illinois shipped on Monday - Thursday expect delivery in one (1) to two (2) day business days. Shipments out of state expect up to 3 days for receipt. Orders placed the later part of the week such as Thursday thru Saturday will go out the following Monday with routine holidays being an exception.
We chose to use a fine unique chocolate in dark, milk & white as well as the Granny Smith Apple of choice. If for some reason our shipment is delayed or out of stock our substitute would be the Gala or Fuji apple based on their credentials.
Our Signature Gourmet Candy Apple comes in a variety candy topping so please note that our candy brands are not affiliated with the Mars Company or their affiliates.
We recommend that your Gourmet Apple be sliced into 6 - 8 pieces at serving - ENJOY!
Due to the current state of the economy and inflation prices may change and adjust based on future market.
In order to process your order a minimum order of $20.00 is required.
Gourmet Apples coated and decorated are between 1.25 lbs - 1.75 lbs in weight depending on the amount of coating and toppings requested.
What About Them Apples ships packages by US Priority Mail in the cooler months such as September 16 thru May 30, our shipments go out regularly on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We do recognize that there are times when mailing could be really busy, such as during the holiday seasons and we exclude times of very high volume like the holiday season.
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout and we ship via ground shipment, USPS, Fed Ex and UPS, you have the option of choosing from several shipping methods, Ground, 2 Day, and 3 Day, wel also attempt to provide you with the lowest shipping costs available.
On Weekends and holidays we do not ship out and arrival on Saturdays, weekends and holidays are not available. If you decide to place a order now for a future delivery date feel free to leave us a message in our comments section or email us @ [email protected] We recommend a 5 day lead time prior to holiday Christmas 2014 falls on a Thursday all orders must be received by Noon December 18, 2014 to arrive by Christmas Eve.
During warmer weather from June 1, thru September 15 we may only ship overnight to avoid damage to your gourmet treat. When shipping to the warmer climate states ice packs/brick are deemed necessary and an additional $ 7.00 charge per ice pack/brick and insulation kit. We reserve the right to add ice packs and insulation as deemed necessary to ensure the un-melted arrival of gourmet treats.
There are certain times of the year that require us to ship in insulated containers with ice packs to ensure that our product reaches you as it left our home based business. To cover the cost of the additional packaging, we must charge a fee for the packaging which is added to the shipping rates charged by our carrier. We do not add any handling charges to the packaging.

We make every attempt to ensure that orders arrives on or before the requested date. Orders received before noon CST may be shipped on the next business day, orders placed later in the week are normally held and shipped on the following Monday to avoid having gourmet treats sitting in shipping hubs over the weekend although they do have a shelf life of 10 - 14 days.
What About Them Apples is not responsible for late packages due to circumstances beyond our control such as i.e. inaccurate and incomplete addresses, severe weather, disruptions or delays in air or ground transportation and natural disasters. Keep in mind that during the holiday season its always best to plan ahead for early delivery. We ship to the 48 contiguous states and do not forward shipments to PO, APO/FPO Boxes. Additionally, if you purchase an item that does not meet your satisfaction a credit will be offered which will exclude shipping charges.
Separate orders are required if you need to place a order that has multiple ship to locations, if you have over three (2) ship to locations please be sure to contact us regarding multiple orders, multiple shipping fees may apply however.
We cannot fully guarantee shipping to major business's such as corporations, hospitals, universities, hotels or resorts, we recommend you select a ship to address where someone will be able to sign for the delivery. ***** It is at the discretion of the carrier to leave a package at the doorstep, we cannot be held responsible for unclaimed packages due to incorrect addresses or packages that were not signed for and left outside.
We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, Military (A.P.O & F.P.O), International or Canadian shipments at this time.
Damaged packages must be signed for to guarantee a refund or replacement at no extra charge to you.
Waiver of Warm Weather Shipping
Warm Weather Waiver Request:
If you wish to purchase the warm weather insulation kit, the cost is $7.00, select the kit in the apple store under insulation kit, if you wish to decline the warm weather shipping then do not add the product to your order at at checkout. You will not be charged Warm Weather Shipping fees; however the handling costs (non-warm weather shipping) and applicable shipping charges will be applied.
At your request, we will waive the Conditions for Warm Weather Shipping; however, the waiver of these conditions will result in a non-refundable, non-credited order.
Non-refundable: If the total order is damaged or received in an unacceptable condition due to warm weather, and has been shipped during the period of Condition for Warm Weather Shipping where the Conditions of Warm Weather Shipping has been declined by the purchaser as specified for the shipping location, the cost of the shipment will not be refunded; including the cost of the order and applicable costs of shipping and packaging.
Non-creditable: If an order is received and a portion of the order is in an unacceptable condition due to warm weather, and has been shipped during the period of Condition for Warm Weather Shipping where the Conditions of Warm Weather Shipping has been declined, as specified for the shipping location, the portion of the order in unacceptable condition will not be credited; including the cost of the items received as unacceptable or the applicable costs of shipping and packaging for the total order.
All of our apples and gourmet treats come in either a gourmet cardboard gift box or a cellophane treat bag. Our cakes are in plastic cake containers sealed for freshness and labeled with our company name and logo. If you have any special request for packaging, please let us know.
Billing, Returns and Cancellations:
We do not bill your order until it has shipped.
Since our products are food products and considered perishables, we cannot accept returns.
Cancellations may be accepted. If you wish to cancel your order within 12hrs, contact us immediately. Cancellations for orders shipping within 24 hours will not be accepted.

We will use commercially reasonable methods such as PAYPAL to manage personal payment information securely in our files and systems. Our payment system is operated using secure Internet connections, using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, to help protect your financial data. Please note that with current technology, we cannot guarantee the security of your data as it travels over the Internet.
All of our gourmet apples and treats are made fresh to order the same day they are shipped, we do not back stock apples or treats, they are made specific and fresh for every order placed. Please be advised that we DO NOT ship packages to P.O. Boxes. Our packages can only be shipped to physical addresses where the recipient will be present. We cannot fully guarantee shipping to major corporations, hospitals, hotels or resorts unless the purchaser ensures a person will be there to accept the delivery & notify someone on duty of its upcoming arrival.
All of our shipping is calculated based on the weight of the products purchased and the location they are being shipped to.
There is no signature required for our packages and FedEx will leave them at the door if no one is available to receive them.
While FedEx is extremely reliable there are certain delays which can arise as a result of weather and transportation. We are not responsible for delays, even when you have purchased the Overnight option.
